Home safety assessment

Floors: loose rugs, cords, clutter in walkways, uneven thresholds. Lighting: dim stairways, no night light on the route to the bathroom, no switch at both ends of the stairs. Bathroom: no grab bars, no non-slip mat, tub with high sides, low toilet seat. Stairs: no handrail or only on one side, worn steps. Kitchen: items stored too high, stove left on. Medication: expired pill organizers, several organizers at once, drugs kept from a previous prescription. Emergency: telephone reachable from the floor, alert bracelet, list of contacts.
