Anaphylaxis — immediate sequence
1. Epinephrine intramuscular in the mid-outer thigh, first, before anything else 2. Call for help and stop the suspected trigger 3. Lie the person flat with the legs raised; sitting up only if breathing is difficult; never stand them up 4. High-flow oxygen, large-bore IV access, fluid bolus 5. Repeat epinephrine every 5 to 15 minutes if needed 6. Antihistamines and corticosteroids are adjuncts only, never first 7. Observe for a biphasic reaction
